- I live with my husband in the Bay Area. In 2005, we married. For him a second marriage; for me a first and late marriage. I don't love it here (but do love the interior), so we're looking for a new place to call home--someplace with more nature. I'm not an artist, but I'm learning to draw and paint. Collage is my first love. Knitting is something I enjoy doing while I'm visiting with friends or watching a Mad Men episode. When I'm not doing all the things I'm writing about on my blog, I'm exploring practices meaningful to me: Felt Sense Movement, meditation, and Focusing. I work in Communications and am currently looking for work. I also teach Yoga on the side. I lived in France for a year and occasionally travel someplace exotic. Our last big trip was Vietnam, Laos, Thailand. I'd like our next trip to be Botswana, Africa. In August, I look forward to my two favorite times of the year: camping in Yosemite and an annual visit from my girlfriend's two girls, now 11 and 9. I'm learning to garden. Someday I might own a dog or a cat.
